I believe that FEMA plays a key role in working with states and localities to prepare for and respond to natural disasters. As president, I will ensure FEMA has the funding it needs to fulfill its mission, while directing maximum resources to the first responders who work tirelessly to help those in need, because states and localities are in the best position to get aid to the individuals and communities affected by natural disasters.
Mitt Romney • In a statement released by his campaign on Wednesday, pushing back against claims that he would eliminate the Federal Emergency Management Agency should he win the presidency next week. Romney has been put on the defensive recently, thanks to comments he made regarding the agency’s future should he become President during a debate last June. “Every time you have an occasion to take something from the federal government and send it back to the states, that’s the right direction,” Romney told debate moderator John King, adding, “And if you can go even further, and send it back to the private sector, that’s even better.”

Ann Coulter Calls Obama ‘The Retard’
As is her custom, provocative conservative commentator Ann Coulter was decidedly politically incorrect in her assessment of the final presidential debate last night. Ms. Coulter took to Twitter where she used a derogatory term to describe President Barack Obama.
“I highly approve of Romney’s decision to be kind and gentle to the retard,” Ms. Coulter wrote.
Her comment comes less than two weeks after Dan Niblock, the father of a young boy with Down syndrome, published an essay on the website of NBC’s Today taking Ms. Coulter to task for using the same term in another tweet. It’s apparently a habit of Ms. Coulter’s.
“I want Ann Coulter to apologize for using a form of hate speech that is particularly searing to people who have special needs. This isn’t the first time she has tweeted the word “retarded” to insult her rivals, and she needs to stop. Her behavior is not acceptable,” Mr. Niblock wrote.
These complaints clearly haven’t had much effect on Ms. Coulter, who has been unapologetic of her past politically incorrect remarks. Still, we reached out to Ms. Coulter to see if she had any regrets about her post-debate tweet. As of this writing, we have yet to receive a response. We won’t hold our breath.
Update (3:00 a.m.): In an email to Politicker, Ms. Coulter doubled down and made it clear she’s not worried about upsetting anyone with her choice of words.
“The only people who will be offended are too retarded to understand it,” she wrote.
Ann Coulter is a prick and an asshole and a dickhead and fuck her and anyone who supports this piece of human shit. Ta-da!
“Too retarded to understand it.” That is beyond fucked up
If you say you’re for equal pay for equal work but you keep refusing to say whether or not you will sign a bill that protects equal pay for equal work, you might have Romnesia.
If you say women should have access to contraceptive care, but you support legislation that would let employers deny contraceptive care, you might have a case of Romnesia.
If you say you will protect a women’s right to choose but you stand up in a primary debate and say you’d be delighted to sign a law outlawing that right to choose in all cases, then you have definitely got Romnesia.
If you come down with a case of Romnesia and you can’t seem to remember the policies that are still on your website, or the promises you have made over the six years you’ve been running for president, here is the good news: Obamacare covers pre-existing conditions.

Bullshit indeed.
Seems pretty obvious no?
Did Mitt Romney cheat in Wednesday’s debate? This slowed-down closeup posted to YouTube makes it appear as though he reaches into his pocket, pulls out a paper and places it on his lectern, in violation of rules that stated:
No props, notes, charts, diagrams, or other writings or other tangible things may be brought into the debate by any candidate.
(Attention gif makers.)
I’m not one for conspiracy theories or excuses, but it’s pretty obvious that A.) He brought notes with him and B.) He was certainly doing his best to hide it.
In fairness, it’s tough to keep track of all those lies in his head alone.
Mitthead.
Wowwww
